In a significant win for innovation, Link-Belt Excavators’ 220, 260, and 370 X4S Long Front Excavators have been honored with the 2025 Contractor’s Top 50 New Products Award from Equipment Today. The award recognizes the year’s top equipment and technology releases that exhibit innovation, quality, efficiency, and productivity on the job site.
The X4S Long Front series was selected based on nominations and audience engagement, reflecting its significant impact on the industry since its introduction. These excavators are engineered to meet the evolving demands of specialized tasks, such as deep excavation, waterway maintenance, and slope finishing, which require extended reach and precision.
The award-winning excavators are powered by a fuel-efficient Isuzu Tier 4 Final engine, which eliminates the need for a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), reducing maintenance and costs. They also feature an advanced hydraulic system with Spool Stroke Control (SSC) technology, optimizing performance and energy consumption. Operators can choose from multiple power modes, including Speed Priority, Power, and Eco, to fine-tune performance for different applications.
