The system operates using a network of three strategically placed, high-resolution cameras mounted on the rear and sides of the excavator. These cameras work in unison to create a seamless 270-degree panoramic view that is displayed on a full-color, high-resolution monitor inside the operator’s cab. This integrated feed provides a clear, side-to-side visual representation of the machine’s immediate environment, effectively eliminating potential blind spots from the operator’s line of sight.
For even greater jobsite visibility, customers can upgrade to the WAVES+ option. This enhanced system not only provides the 270-degree view but also includes an alert system. When movement is detected within the 270° field of view, the system notifies the operator with both an on-screen alert and an audible alert, enabling a faster, more proactive response to potential hazards.
